This is Aaron's 2 Cents on what's happening in Portland Oregon on the weekend of October 26th 2012.  It's the weekend before Halloween and it's all about the black and orange.  Between Oregon State playing university of Washington, the harvest festivals and Halloween you can't miss with this color combo.

Checking for CharityIf you haven't heard me talk about it, Checking for Charity is a great organization that has already raised over $93,000 for various charities and should top $100,000 by the end of the West Coast Event this weekend.  Tonight September 6, 2012 at 7pm we have the kickoff of the West Coast event with the annual Beef and Brew dinner and auction. (click here for details)  This year we have a bunch of auction items and packages that have been donated by a variety of great sponsors with more still coming in.  Thank you to all that have participated and come out tonight to get your hands on some of this great schwag!  To register go

WFG National Title's 'The Big Le-Bocce' Charity Bocce Ball Tournament went off in grand fashion on Thursday August 9th, 2012.  I want to give a HUGE thank you to all that participated in this first installment as we couldn't have been successful without you! Through your participation we were able to raise $2200 for 3 great charities!  All of the pictures have now been posted on our WFG National Title - Lloyd Branch facebook page. Checking for Charity Beef and Brew Portland OregonFor 3 years now, Beef and Brew has been the kick off for the Checking for Charity Hockey tournament on the East Coast.  It has become the highlight of the weekend for many people and we are excited to be brining this to the West Coast.   All proceeds from Beef and Brew go into the Checking for Charity fund which will donate to 9 separate charities at the end of the Portland, OR event.   If you haven’t heard about Checking for Charity go

Personally, I have been a craigslist aficionado for years now, as I’ve found it to be the best way to do everything from selling, or giving away, stuff you don’t want, to posting all of my listings as a Realtor. One way or another, there always seems to be someone out there that wants what you have!
